VINEYARD
Beaune is the capital of the wine-producing region of Burgundy as well as the most extensive communal AOC appellation in the Côte d’Or. The production of red wines covers an area of 368.74 ha including 281.49 ha of Premiers Crus. Most of the vineyards are located on pronounced slopes.
Soil: limestone mixed with clays.
Exposure of the vineyard: from East to South.
TASTING
A dark garnet color.
An intense nose marked by a grilled reduction and smoky notes. Aromas of “gariguette” and wild strawberry.
The palate is rich, fleshy, and very fruity.
A wine with a great ageing potential. Use a decanter if you want to drink it young.
